NoSpamToday! SMTP Proxy Version 2.0 Upgrade Information

NoSpamToday! SMTP Proxy Version 2.0 is a new and advanced version of our popular SMTP mail filtering solution. In this version, a lot of new features and versatile configuration options provide a major leap towards making NoSpamToday! an extensible, multi-purpose SMTP Proxy. Also in this release, we were able to address many wishes and suggestions from our customers and freeware users.

What's new in NoSpamToday! SMTP Proxy Version 2.0

• The new filter chain architecture is a major step towards an extensible multi-purpose SMTP Proxy. It lets you easily integrate additional tools like virus filters into the SMTP checking pipeline.
• Virtual hosts: NoSpamToday! is now capable of managing multiple filter chains independently for an unlimited number of outgoing hosts.
• Includes an attachment filter to get rid of email-borne worms and viruses at little processing cost
• Built-in support for the ClamAV and F-Prot Anti-Virus engines
• Advanced anti-spam protection features:
  • separate threshold to delete or quarantine spam mails instead of tagging and delivering them
  • quarantine Spam and Virus mails by redirecting them to a separate mail account
  • spam honeypot: all mails sent to a special honeypot address will automatically be learned as spam
  • built-in protection against directory harvesting attacks
• Management console including realtime monitoring (logfile viewer, proxy and session status, statistics) and enhanced administration wizards for the SMTP Proxy and the filter chains
• Extended statistics reporting in CSV file format including e.g. SpamAssassin rule usage statistics
• Improved resource management options like configurable maximum memory usage, NDR flooding protection

Upgrade Information

• Freeware users can simply download and install the new version. You will still be able to filter mails for up to 10 recipient addresses, like in the previous version. Additionally, you can benefit from all the new features of NoSpamToday! 2.0.
• If you purchased NoSpamToday! SMTP Proxy after July 1st, 2004, you can upgrade to NoSpamToday! SMTP Proxy Version 2.0 for free.
• If you purchased NoSpamToday! SMTP Proxy before June 30th, 2004, will receive a discount. If you order an upgrade before December 31st, 2004, the discount will be 50%. Beginning with January 1st, 2005, the discount will be 25%.

Price Information

Prices start at $249.95 (EUR 199.95) for a 25 Recipients license. The purchase price is a one-time fee, and maintenance upgrades are free of charge. Updates introducing major enhancements and new features and resulting in major version increments (e.g. from version 2.x to version 3.x) can be purchased with a discount of 25% of the actual list price.
